Information on tourism opportunities, tourist attractions, accommodations, and cafes in Mersrags municipality and its territory can be received at Mersrags information centre (Zvejnieku St. 2), as well as at Mersrags municipality council (Liela St. 35). Booklets and handouts with information on Mersrags are available at the information centre.

About the information centre: Mersrags rural territory information centre first opened in September 2000. Back then it was located in an apartment building. Now the centre has a new location. Within the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) Rural Development Programme “Rural economic diversification and improvement of the quality of life in local development strategy territories”, the information centre received a simplified reconstruction. On August 2012, the Mersrags municipality information centre opened its doors in the very heart of Mersrags.

The information centre provides information on tourism and recreational opportunities in Mersrags municipality and elsewhere in Latvia, on events, tourism attractions and accommodations. The centre offers maps, guidebooks and pamphlets, and consultation. The range of information centre’s services is expanded and improved every year.
